February Blues: 2/27

Thursday February 27th, 2025
6:00 PM - 8:30 PM

February Blues features Country and Blue singers with our Beer Garden starting at 6pm. This event is free to the public and features a different performer every week. This week's performers: 6PM – FETER MARTIN HOMER, 7PM – TBA 6PM – FETER MARTIN HOMER Americana, Roots singer-songwriter Feter Martin Homer’s voice, cultivated over three decades of writing, recording, and performing, is a singular blend of some of his most Mount Rushmore-esque influences: Woody Guthrie, Doc Watson, Bob Dylan, and a dash of Richard Thompson. Luxembourg’s Orange Flag Music said “his music calls men powerful and full of passion.” Jim Hynes of The Daily Ripple praised Feter’s “strong picking and affecting harmonies,” and John Apice, of Americana Highways deemed his vocals on “This Storm Shall Pass Away” “dusky and authentic,” adding, “even in its primitive modern mythos with an old English folk song tint that seeps through into an Americanized song – it’s bright and beautiful.” Feter’s mournful vocal quality he shares with his esteemed forebears is complemented by his blistering guitar work, culminating in a sound both familiar and exotic.
