Grounded in The Everly Brothers, Elvis Presley & Johnny Cash, Anaheim Singer-Songwriter CHRIS CRUZ performs in a variety of formations throughout Southern California.

On February 20 at 6pm, Orange County’s Favorite Acoustic Duo CHRIS CRUZ & RAE SHIRER followed by CHRIS CRUZ ELECTRIC at 7pm performing Chris’s celebrated originals and classic covers.

On Saturday, February 22nd, from 1pm-3pm, FMC will be having a workshop hosted by West Coast Credible Messengers. This is a FREE event, but spots are limited, please rsvp by Thursday, February 20th.

Teaching artists Alberto Lule and Ryan "Flaco" Rising with Credible Messengers will lead participants in art and creative writing activities geared towards carceral spaces.

These activities are focused on critical thinking with educational and art components.
Credible messenger artists are individuals who have personal experience with the criminal justice system and have turned their lives around through the power of art and education.

Americana, Roots singer-songwriter Feter Martin Homer’s voice, cultivated over three decades of writing, recording, and performing, is a singular blend of some of his most Mount Rushmore-esque influences: Woody Guthrie, Doc Watson, Bob Dylan, and a dash of Richard Thompson. Luxembourg’s Orange Flag Music said “his music calls men powerful and full of passion.” Jim Hynes of The Daily Ripple praised Feter’s “strong picking and affecting harmonies,” and John Apice, of Americana Highways deemed his vocals on “This Storm Shall Pass Away” “dusky and authentic,” adding, “even in its primitive modern mythos with an old English folk song tint that seeps through into an Americanized song – it’s bright and beautiful.” Feter’s mournful vocal quality he shares with his esteemed forebears is complemented by his blistering guitar work, culminating in a sound both familiar and exotic.

Opening Saturday, January 25th, 2025, 1968: A Folsom Redemption and Beyond Confinement: The Untold Stories come together to explore the profound impact of art on individuals affected by the incarceration system. 1968, celebrates the 50th anniversary of Johnny Cash’s legendary performances at one of the nation's first maximum-security prisons, offering a collection of photographs and memories from two journalists who were lucky enough to be among a handful of eyewitnesses to the historic concerts. This candid and personal photography exhibition covers a critical juncture in the career of Johnny Cash, one of the twentieth century's most beloved performers.  In dialogue with this historic moment, Beyond Confinement: The Untold Stories showcases the work of individual artists affected by the incarceration system. Featured artists include  Alberto Lule, Fulton Leroy Washington, Khadijah Silva, Nicholas Tirado, and others. Through their diverse mediums, these artists share personal narratives that illuminate the role of creative expression and emphasize the vital role of arts programming for those impacted by the system.   Together, the two exhibitions highlight the ongoing relevance of art as a vehicle for transformation, both within and beyond the walls of confinement.

From the spark of an idea to a permanent gallery, Strumming Through the Decades: Thirty Years with Fender will highlight how our permanent Fender gallery came to be. As well as provide a map of Fender landmarks around Fullerton, to help visitors mentally and physically walk in Leo's steps throughout our town. Photos, videos, mementos and testimonials by key Fullertonians are also featured, as the Fullerton Museum Center continues to help build Leo's legacy.

Strumming Through The Decades: 30 Years With Fender

Punk OC: From the Streets of Suburbia celebrates the vibrant and influential punk rock scene that emerged in Orange County, California, which played a crucial role in the evolution of punk. This exhibit will provide an engaging and educational experience that explores the region's unique contributions—showcasing the music, fashion, activism, and rebellious spirit that defined OC punk and continues to resonate and inspire. It will also highlight the Punk movement beyond OC, featuring historical Punk bands and significant moments from Los Angeles to the globe.
